Take Two…Part 2!! Sassy and Lucid!
It’s time again!! My good friend Julia Stainton and I did this a few weeks ago and have decided to do it on a semi regular basis! Both of us using the same paper and stamps to see how different (or alike) they end up being! This week we used the New Prima Cardstock Lucid and the Stampin’ Up! Set Sassy Stems! You can view Julia’s here! I just love the colors in this cardstock. It was tricky to match the red though. For the flower I actually did it lightly in Real Rust first, then added a little Real Red..I think it ended up matching pretty good! There are stickles on the image too, but they never show up in pictures!
Thanks so much for looking!!

This is terrific…I love that paper and I so need Sassy Stems next time I order! Now, off to find Julia’s!
I love that your cards are SOOO different! I especially love the watercolouring here. Great job! Thanks for sharing:)
OH Lindsey! Love your version! So fresh and pretty! I just love how you stamped the French Flair on it and added the tabs! This is so much fun! I’m always worried they may turn out similar but they are both really unique!
great card!! the flowers match perfectly!
This is gorgeous and such a great job of making that image and paper “fit”.
Lindsey, I love your card! It’s gorgeous!!! The paper looks divine!
What fun! I will enjoy seeing the results of your little challenge between the two of you. Both cards are wonderful. Love the way you used French Flair bg. I already have Sassy Stems, but I need to check out that prima paper! You matched your reds really well. Beautiful card!
This is fantastic, Lindsey! I love the papers and the layout! Sassy Stems is one of my favorite sets. I tried to leave a comment on Julia’s card, too, but it told me to “try again, cowboy”. Huh???
Your Sassy Stems is such a nice simple image to go with your gorgeous DP’s. The tabs and brads are great. TFS
