Sweet New Arrival
Happy Weekend Everyone!!! A friend of mine is due with a baby girl in the next few weeks, so I thought I’d make her a card NOW so I am not scrambling when she’s here!
I just LOVE this Baby Talk set from Stampin’ Up! Not too often I get to use it, so it was fun! The Well Worn Flannel is just so cozy too, I want a blanket that looks like it!
I started by stampin’ the carraige on watercolor paper and coloring it with my blender pen. I outlined it with a Pixie Pink Marker. I then outlined it lightly outlined it with Barely Banana and blender pen to make it jump out! I learned that trick from one of my stampin’ hero’s Trudee. Then I matted it and did some faux sewing and added the ribbon on the handle.
For the background I stamped the flannel in pretty in pink onto whisper white paper. Stamped the sentiment on white and added a pixie pink border. I then connected some pretty in pink with the sentiment and “sewed” it together. When it was all put together I added the prima’s!
Supplies:
Stamps: Baby talk and Well Worn Flannel
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Pixie Pink, Barely Banana and Jet Black Stazon
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Pixie Pink, Whisper white and Watercolor Paper
Accessories: Prima’s, Pink Brads, Gingham ribbon, Crystal Stickles, Paper Piercing Tool, White Gel Pen, Pop Up Glue Dots
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a great day!! ![]()
