What a gorgeous card Linz! YOu know you already have my vote! Great blog giveway too! Love everything there! That magic mesh is super cool! Are you going to carry some of it?! Please?!

What I’d like to see in the new SU catty…hmmmm…can I say lower Canadian prices?! LOL I guess maybe some cool new guy sets…we are sadly lacking on those! I know you’ll agree!

  2. Bethanyon 07 May 2007 at 10:31 am

Your flower shaped card is SO PRETTY! I esp. love the stamped, cut out flowers on the right. In the new catty..I would love it if the new gray is a nice dark, but washed out gray. I haven’t been able to tell based on the online swatch I’ve seen.

  3. Janaon 07 May 2007 at 10:32 am

I would like to see some really cool vintage stamps and maybe some Christmas ones I cant live without. Wasnt too impressed with the last years Christmas collection.

  4. Lynn Mercurioon 07 May 2007 at 10:36 am

Wow…awesome card. That looks like a really challenging shaped design…you ACED it! The thing I would most love to see in the new SU! catty would be PRIMAS and LOTS of them! :)

  5. Regina Davison 07 May 2007 at 10:37 am

I’m with you about more embellishments! I’d love to see SU’s take on Primas and would love a bigger variety of ribbon.

  6. Christine Hauckon 07 May 2007 at 10:42 am

I would definitely love to see more embellishments. Ribbon has become so vital to my card making, it seems like a project is incomplete unless it has some ribbon.
I LOVE your shaped card. I could just sit and look at it for hours.
    Beautiful!
    Chris

  7. Sandy Brownon 07 May 2007 at 10:54 am

Your shaped card is gorgeous Lindsey!! I definitely will pop over and vote.

As for what I’d like in the new SU catty, definitely more trendy embellishments … and I hope we get some mixed font sentiment stamps. I also can’t wait to see what kinds of patterned paper they come up with this time around.

    -Sandy

  8. Linda (LSN on SCS)on 07 May 2007 at 10:54 am

Hmmm…what would I like to see in the new SU catty? Definately a better selection of Vintage/guy sets and more embellishments (ha ha I snuck in two). Your giveaway is awesome!

I LOVE your card above!!! You are going to have to share how you made that flower shape cause I am loving it! The patterned paper, the stitching, the bling….you’ve got my vote! Good luck to you!

    Linda

  9. Megan Olsenon 07 May 2007 at 11:17 am

Congrats on making the top 15 for the PaperCrafts gallery idol! Your card for this round is gorgeous! I want to see new ribbons, more brads, and tons of great new stamp sets in the new SU Catalog. I can hardly wait until July 1st!

  10. Jackie Rakoskion 07 May 2007 at 11:41 am

That card is wonderful! I love all the detail you put into it, so pretty and colorful! Thank you as well for offering some blog candy, very, very nice of you to share with all of us!

  11. peggon 07 May 2007 at 11:45 am

Congrats ! I love your card– all the details and sparklies!
I would love to see more modern flower sets and sentiments! I can’t wait to see the new catalog!

  12. Cheryl Simson 07 May 2007 at 12:00 pm

Beautiful card for mom! I would most like to see some more beautiful flower stamps esp. since they took away Roses in Winter. I also like the puny sort of stamps so any in that line would be great. This is a great giveaway. Thank you.
    Cheryl Sims

  13. Heather Leechon 07 May 2007 at 12:05 pm

I love your card! As for the new catty, more designer paper, more bling…I’m really glad they got rid of alot of the ‘older’ sets. Some of them really needed to go. Hopefully there will be some new, fresh, contemporary stamps.
    Good luck with your card!
    Heather L.

  14. Heather Stevenson 07 May 2007 at 12:05 pm

What a beautiful card. That bottle of primas is so adorable. Fun Fun.

I would love to see more embellishments in the new catalog also. We also could use some new cutsey baby stamp sets.

  15. Amyon 07 May 2007 at 12:19 pm

beautiful card! I hope you move on to the next round! What I would love to see in the next catty is unmounted stamps! I think that’s the way of the world now a days, everyone seems to be going there. It’s time SU follows!!!

    Thanks,
    Amy

  16. Christina (thecardpixie on SCS)on 07 May 2007 at 12:22 pm

Wow, is that flower card cute! You got my vote for the top 20, and now the top 15 too!
As far as the new catty - I’m really excited to see some new flower sets, especially since they took so many away! Oooh, just thought of something else….I know you can make a scalloped border with the slit punch, but a border punch that would make a scalloped edge even easier would be cool too!

  17. Julie Masseon 07 May 2007 at 12:25 pm

I would like to see more embellishments also, maybe lots of new paper and ribbons to coordinate.

  18. Jackie W.on 07 May 2007 at 12:35 pm

I would like to see a lot more chipboard, especially letters in multiple fonts and smaller for cardmaking.

  19. Jackie in NCon 07 May 2007 at 12:41 pm

You got my vote - that’s beautiful! I’d love to see more embellishments in the SU catalog as well, along with some textured papers such as Bazzill. I’m glad they have come out with some new patterned papers again - from what I have seen they are pretty cool!

  20. Bethon 07 May 2007 at 12:50 pm

Hi Lindsey - congrats on the hits!! love that shaped card - you did a great job. and what a great give-away too! let’s see… i think i’m with you; i’d like to see more embellishments such as different colored/patterned ribbons, paper flowers (aka primas), and other kinds of shaped brads. And colored mini safety-pins although those are probably so out-of-style now; i still use them for attaching small tags and love them.

i enjoy your blog - you do such beautiful work - thanks for sharing your creativity! have a great day!

Beth (mommy to a busy 3 1/2 year old)

  21. Cindy Burkeon 07 May 2007 at 12:52 pm

Love your card! More embellishments to pick from are always a good thing.

  22. Allisonon 07 May 2007 at 12:59 pm

Hi Lindsey…that is one terrific creation. So much of what I was thinking has been said…more male sets, more embellishments (primas?), and a nice set for little girls would be swell too!

  23. Whitneyon 07 May 2007 at 1:05 pm

That is a beautiful card! I would really like to see more boy stamps and I just discovered the simply scrapping kits, I like to keep scrapbooking simple to spend more time on cards so I would love to see more of these. Thanks for your fun blog!

  24. DensieLynnon 07 May 2007 at 1:16 pm

Ohh I love the card! From SU I would really LOVE to see acrylic paints in all those beautiful SU colors - Acrylic paints and stamps are so fun together and just think of the fun we’d have making different background papers!!

  25. Donnaon 07 May 2007 at 1:28 pm

Congrats, Lindsey! I’d love to see ALL 48 colors of brads in the SU! catalog!!

  26. Pat S.on 07 May 2007 at 1:40 pm

Lindsey, your shaped card is BEE-U-T-FUL!!!

What I would like to see in the new catty is Primas.

  27. Carolyn King (SCS Cammie)on 07 May 2007 at 1:43 pm

    Hi Lindsey…
I would love to see more embellishments too and some great new dp. I am always on the lookout for cool ribbon as well so I hope they add some neat funky ribbon to the mix.
    Good luck on Idol!

  28. Cindy Coffmanon 07 May 2007 at 2:10 pm

Absolutely love your card!!!!! I would love to see lots more patterned paper and coordinating ribbons……more floral stamps too!! TFS :o)

  29. Jessica (jessrose21)on 07 May 2007 at 2:21 pm

I’d like to see some more flourish stamps and bird stamps (to replace Natural Beauty, sniff!) More specialty punches exclusive to SU, like the Spring Bouquet punch. Thanks for the awesome drawing! Oh yeah, and big spools of specialty ribbon, too! (Not those dumb cards with only a yard of each ribbon.)

  30. trudeeon 07 May 2007 at 2:23 pm

WOO HOO!! look at that WINNING card!!!! Love it :)
I’d like to see some great embellishments, and some really good sentiment stamps in the new catty :)

  31. Kristineon 07 May 2007 at 2:41 pm

Beautiful card, and great blog candy. I’m with you, there’s always room for more embellishments!

  32. Lisa Bon 07 May 2007 at 2:52 pm

I would love to see individual spools of patterned/textured ribbon! I’d also like to see a great mix & match sentiment set, and individual embellies (like the hodgepodge, with the option to order packs of the individual pieces. Great blog, great blog candy! Good luck with Gallery Idol!

  33. k. m.on 07 May 2007 at 2:58 pm

Love your card…….congratulations on making the “top 15″ and good luck on the finals! In the new SU catalog, I am hoping to see more new & different designer paper……I am such a “paper person”…….can never have too much!

  34. Mary Campbellon 07 May 2007 at 3:09 pm

Wow! What a beautiful card. I have to go vote soon. Congrats on making the top 15. This card looks like another winner for you. What I would like to see in the new catalog is more sentiments and more stamps for the men and children in our lives. Thanks for the great blog candy.

  35. Cathyon 07 May 2007 at 3:24 pm

Congrats! What a fun way to celebrate with your admires. Love your creation. I would love to see more chip board and of course embellishments. Well I’m off to vote. Guess who I’m voting for?

  36. Amyon 07 May 2007 at 3:30 pm

Beautiful card! I really like the detail in the bottom left hand corner…between the edge of the patterned paper and the bling…

It feels as though the entire catalog is being retired this year, so my bar is pretty low. I just want to see something NEW!

  37. Dawnmercedeson 07 May 2007 at 3:42 pm

What a nifty pile of treasures! You are so generous. In the new catty, I would like to see some boy/man sets that appeal to me. Coupons to use with your purchase…haha. Some great patterned paper. I don’t have any even though I was really tempted to get some when the Polka dot and paisley paper came out! Maybe something new will tempt me. Either way, I love seeing what all you talented stampers do with designer papers.

  38. Alisonon 07 May 2007 at 3:45 pm

I love your card — so many interesting layers and embellished details. Gorgeous! Hmmm… I’m looking forward to some new coordinating products, like maybe a stamp set or designer paper to coordinate with the rhinestone brads that are coming out! And hopefully either a scalloped punch or two, or diecut scalloped shapes.

  39. lois laneon 07 May 2007 at 3:49 pm

I’m with you! Definetely more embellishments. More ribbon!! I would also like to see them make it possible to by just one color brad instead of a set of 4. I could go on and on!!!

  40. doverdion 07 May 2007 at 3:49 pm

Such a pretty shaped card. I love the colors. I also love the generous selection of goodies that you’ve chosen to give away. What I’d like to see in the new SU cattie would be lower Canadian prices as our prices are so much higher than the US prices. But since that won’t likely happen, I’d like to see more little girl stamps, more vintage stamps & of course masculine stamps.

  41. Janaon 07 May 2007 at 4:06 pm

Hey I already told ya what i want in the catty but i wanted to tell ya i voted and i just love that original card!!!!!!!!! Good luck Linds!

  42. Bethon 07 May 2007 at 4:07 pm

First, your card is beautiful! I love the colors and the design go so well together. You certainly can put this one “fear” behind you-lol! As far a the new catalog goes, being from Huntsville, AL and having a hubby that works for NASA, I would love to see a space themed set- possibly like the line people from the Ahoy, Matey set. I would, also, like to see a wheel that would do a faux stitching pattern. Not sure how they would do it because of the little bit of “dead space” where the ends of the rubber meet but it would be a quick fix with a marker.

  43. Leesa Berryon 07 May 2007 at 4:49 pm

I totally agree with more embellishments in the new SU catty! Chipboard sets, more ribbon selection, brads, fun clips, and even tins to alter or alter kits. Love your blog. Thanks for such kind candy blog. Good luck. Love your cards!

  44. Natalieon 07 May 2007 at 5:21 pm

I would like to see more patterns and individual rolls of patterned ribbon.

  45. Shannonon 07 May 2007 at 5:21 pm

I would love to see more ribbon with designs and some more patterned paper. I really think this catalogue will have a lot of stuff that I am gonna love!! Can’t wait.

  46. roneeon 07 May 2007 at 5:47 pm

I love love love the cute card! Now what I would like to see in the new catty..OH MY I don’t know where to start. Bling! I love bling. Flowers..I am a prima junkie! I am from Hawaii..everything is suppose to have a flower on it. More paper! I have an addiction to pattern paper! I am SO excited

  47. Melissa Banian (SCS:stampin_melissa)on 07 May 2007 at 5:55 pm

Your card is gorgeous! Hmmm, what do I want to see in the new SU catty? I would like to see a new French Script background stamp that allows you to use it horizontally or vertically. I LOVE our old French Script, but I always had to use it vertically because of the way it is designed. Well, I guess you could just use it partially, but I’m not creative enough to use it that way! LOL!

  48. Lynn Brownon 07 May 2007 at 5:57 pm

I love your flower card. I would like to see more “doodle themed” stamps. I just love the doodled stuff in the mini catalog.

  49. Julie Mutchon 07 May 2007 at 5:59 pm

What a great card, awesome job! I love the flower style and the colours are gorgeous. You’ve got my vote! Good luck! :)

As for my new catty wish list, it would definitely be more embellies. More ribbon is a given and I have the Hodge Podge Hardware set and I’d love to see them add on to this collection, as well. I’d be a happy crafter, if they did! lol :)

  50. kathyon 07 May 2007 at 6:04 pm

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME INKS LIKE VERSAFINE. SOMETIMES THE SU INKS JUST DON’T HOLD UP. OF COURSE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE EMBELLISHMENTS AND SOME NEW TOOLS.

  51. Kennaon 07 May 2007 at 6:06 pm

What a great card - you have nothing to worry about when it comes to shaped cards! I would love to see more multi-colored ribbon on spools, and other fun accessories.

  52. loricraigon 07 May 2007 at 6:18 pm

What a beautiful card. Best of luck to you, Lindsey. I’m heading over to check it out and vote. And, can I just say…serious ‘candy’ you’ve got posted there… I would love to see a larger flower punch in the SU! catalog. I am very excited about the new chipboard packs that they have given a sneak peak of, too.

  53. Susan Hon 07 May 2007 at 6:36 pm

The card is beautiful - gotta go give it a vote ;)
In the new catty I’d like to see more vintage stuff - stamps, ribbons, patterned paper. Thanks for asking!

  54. Melissa Kaufmanon 07 May 2007 at 6:42 pm

    Fabulous card!!

I would like to see some Christmas sets that are awesome and polka dot ribbon!

  55. Dawnon 07 May 2007 at 6:43 pm

My vote’s in!! Love the flower shape, the primas, the stitching…all of it!
I would also like to see more embellishments in the SU catty. More ribbon would be great, too!!

  56. Betsy Zon 07 May 2007 at 7:12 pm

I would love to see more vintage photograph style stamps. Like the ones by paper inspirations that look like post cards. I always am a sucker for floral stamps though. I just love their punches also so new styles of them would be great. I guess it just doesn’t take that much to make me happy. (lol)

  57. Michelleon 07 May 2007 at 7:12 pm

That card is beautiful, as is the collection of goodies to give away! I love the sentiment on the card, it’s a very elegant look.

  58. Paula Ron 07 May 2007 at 7:15 pm

What a gorgeous card. I’d like to see more vintage stamps. I just love them, and of course more embellishments.

  59. nancy littrellon 07 May 2007 at 7:15 pm

What a stunningly gorgeous mother’s day card. You out did yourself on your 3D…dimensional beauty. More embellishments for sure and flower sets that will rival my fav. Petal Prints, Mixed Bouquet and Roses in Winter. And what could they possibly come up with that is as cute and versatile as Best of Cluck?!? TFS

  60. Caitlinon 07 May 2007 at 7:20 pm

I love the card! It’s really nice, and I love the site, congrats on 1000 postings. I would love to see more embellishments, especially ribbon, I’m an addict! Have a good day!

  61. Sandra L-Mon 07 May 2007 at 7:25 pm

Thanks for the fun goodies. Anyways, I would like to see in the new catty a brown cartridge for the jumbo wheels. I know I can use my pad but sometimes It’s easier with the cartridge. More “masculine” sets. Sandra Lew-Moll

  62. Tanyaon 07 May 2007 at 7:27 pm

I love that card!! I too would like too see more embellies! Tanya

  63. lilianon 07 May 2007 at 7:36 pm

what a GORGEOUS card!! congrats on 1,000 comments. :)

  64. Pattion 07 May 2007 at 7:39 pm

Your card is lovely…perfect for Mother’s Day! Like you, I would like SU! to give us more embellishments…more ribbon! more brads! more hardware! AND because I have 2 teenage boys, I would appreciate some masculine stamps with fun teen themes. Am I asking too much? lol

  65. Julie K in Taiwanon 07 May 2007 at 8:11 pm

    Wonderful card! Thanks for sharing.

About SU, I’d like to see free shipping to Taiwan ;) New Asian themed stamp sets too.

  66. Selinaon 07 May 2007 at 8:36 pm

Beautiful flower shaped card! Thanks for sharing it. (I, too, would love to see more embellishments in the new catalog.)

  67. Adelinaon 07 May 2007 at 9:26 pm

What a great card! I’d like to see more embellishments in the new catalog, too. I really enjoy all the samples they share.

  70. Denise M.on 08 May 2007 at 3:04 am

How funny, I voted for your card before I even came to your site! I love it! Good Luck, there was some tough competition! I am hoping to see some new patterened papers in the new catty…

  71. Lisa Mooreon 08 May 2007 at 3:32 am

I would love to see markers for the new ink colors and some beautiful new florals.. I love florals.. Hodgepodge refills and lots of designer papers… I think that about covers it.. LOL

    Great blog & candy.

  72. Emilyon 08 May 2007 at 3:56 am

I would like to see more embellishments, too. And a wider variety. Flowers, interesting tags, etc. Also, I love flourishes. Stuff like that. Great flower card! Very pretty colors and your designs are always fantastic.
    Emily

  73. Bettinaon 08 May 2007 at 4:37 am

First - what a stunning Mother’s Day card (I’m going to vote after this post!). Next, what an amazing give away. I would like to see more girlfriend stuff (with the Bellas being so hot, I’d like to see what SU comes up with), and some more cool vintage looking stamps. Congratulations on you blog, it is a wonderful place to visit.

  74. Kimmieon 08 May 2007 at 4:38 am

Oh your card is so elegant and sweet!! You are doing so well in the Idol challenges!! And just LOOK at that candy!! I would definitely like to see more options in embellishments also…..more ribbon, some flowers, stuff like that!! Also I hope they are just psyching us out about the In Color stuff and that they’ll still be in the new cattie, especially Cool Caribbean……what do you think?? I probably shouldn’t hold my breath, huh?

  75. Claudia F.on 08 May 2007 at 5:09 am

I’d like to see more florals, and more general saying.
    Claudia F.

  76. Ilene Bon 08 May 2007 at 5:38 am

Beautiful card! I would freak too having to do a shaped card! Looks like you aced it!
I would love to see primas, ribbons and it would really be nice if you could order refills on brads for the HodgePodge kit.
    Ilene B.

  77. Colleenon 08 May 2007 at 5:40 am

I love your mother’s day card…and what a generous giveaway…I’ll play. I would love to see more embellishments…specifically flowers…love ‘em! (but they need to have matching brads too)

  78. Jana Mon 08 May 2007 at 5:58 am

    Cool giveaway!!!

I would love to see more ’sparkly things’. LOL I can’t wait to see the rhinestone brads in person.

  79. waterchild12 (broni)on 08 May 2007 at 6:08 am

I LOVE your shaped Mother’s Day card! It’s beautiful! I would most like to see some up-to-date girly stamps in the new SU catalog. Look how popular the Bellas are! We need more of something like that! I’m off to vote in the Idol contest….

  80. Pat S.on 08 May 2007 at 6:28 am

It was easy to vote for your shaped card…it is absolutely beautiful!

What I would like to see in the new catty: Primas!!!

  81. Dianaon 08 May 2007 at 6:38 am

I would love to se SU customers have the option of buying unmounted. I have just run out of room with wood mounted stamps and have just “unmounted them all”

  82. Carolyn S.on 08 May 2007 at 6:48 am

Love that shaped card. I have a hard time with those, too. I am thinking about joining a swap at vc_rocks, that would force me to make some and get comfortable with them. (and of course, get some great shaped cards in return). Anyway, I would love to see more embellishments, but something different. Maybe something you can only get at SU ( I know that’s alot to ask). The new bejeweled brads are great, but you can get something similar at every scrapbooking store or Michaels, JoAnns. We know our customers are going to go there, with their coupons (so am I) I would like something exclusive, like our awesome colors and stamps.

  83. Ilaon 08 May 2007 at 7:24 am

    Love your flower card!
I would like more embellishments like flowers and unique brads…(like patterned buttons, jewels ect..
I would also like more word stamps that would fit in the word punches.
I’d also like more whimsicle and humorous designs.

  84. Elizabethon 08 May 2007 at 8:12 am

GORGEOUS! …. as for the SU catty, I would love to see more (yes more) ribbon - packaged by color groups, so I can stop agonizing over which to by first, or next….

  85. Susan S.on 08 May 2007 at 8:32 am

Oh, me too….I would LOVE to see more new embellishments from SU…liked shaped brads and such…..and if only they would sell the hardware kit items individually!!! That would be totally wonderful.
Thank you for your offer of goodies…..and your Mother’s Day shaped card is terrific!

  86. Teresa Chapmanon 08 May 2007 at 8:49 am

I also would like to see more embellishments. Can one ever have enough?!

Love your shaped Mother’s Day card. I’m on my way to cast my vote. Good luck.

    Teresa

  87. Cathyon 08 May 2007 at 8:53 am

    Wonderful card!

I’d like to see scalloped punches in the new catty. They are all the rage so why shouldn’t SU carry them, too!?!

  88. Linda SSon 08 May 2007 at 9:00 am

Congrats on your success in the Idol contest! I hope SU comes out with more sets like Very Punny. Simple images and so cute versatile.

  89. Pattyon 08 May 2007 at 9:16 am

Great glog! I would love to see more antique stamps, but I have noticed in the past that they don’t sell that well. I love them though.

  90. Lyndaon 08 May 2007 at 9:37 am

I would like to see a wider range of colors in the ribbon and brad selection.
    Lynda

  91. lacyquilteron 08 May 2007 at 9:53 am

Gorgeous, gorgeous flower card. Love that layer with the punched edge. Well, I love everything. Having trouble getting in to vote though.

I would like to see fewer cutesy stamps and more embellishments and tools.

  92. jodeneon 08 May 2007 at 10:07 am

I totally agree with you more embellishments. It is the one thing I spend the most money away from stampin up on.

  93. iralamijaon 08 May 2007 at 10:11 am

wow~~~~!!!! YOUR WORK IS SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE IT TFS!!

    Bety :)

  94. ~Lana B.~on 08 May 2007 at 10:29 am

Congrats on the (well deserved) comments!! And good luck on the gallery idol contest!
I would love to see SU! have some flower type of embelishments. I know the new punch box will have a flower punch…but not everyone can afford $40 for one size of flower punch. more, more, more flowers! lol
Thanks for sharing w/ all of us!

Oh my, what a great card! I wish I could vote for it every day!
I want more embellishments and more patterned paper. I am such a push-over for paper! I also wish we had a die-cutting machine (cuttlebuggish) but with the new chipboard they previewed, I don’t think that is going to happen.
I hope you win the PaperCrafts Gallery Idol!!!

  96. Christlon 08 May 2007 at 11:02 am

I love your shaped card! I’ve been too timid to try anything like that but I may have to give it a go. Embellishments are a favourite for me - and wouldn’t it be great if SU carried scallop-type punches?

  97. StamperSharonon 08 May 2007 at 11:36 am

Great card, Linz — congrats on making it thru another round!

I’d love to see LOTS more flower stamps in the new SU catalog — surprised? LOL!

  98. Yoshaon 08 May 2007 at 11:46 am

Love the flower card! Definitely one I’ll CASE if I get brave enough!!! :)

Hmm…ideally I’d like to see clear stamps! So much easier to place them properly! I’d also like to see some swirls and such.

    YM

  99. Peggy Maieron 08 May 2007 at 12:02 pm

Great Card - I’m casting my vote for your flower!
What I’d like to see in the new SU! Catalog would be different types of embellishments & certainly would like some new, spring/summer Prima-type flowers!!!
Thanks for a chance at the blog candy by the way.

  100. Susan Liles (susiestampalot)on 08 May 2007 at 12:08 pm

oh what a lovely card you did for the idol contest! shaped cards scare me, too! i would most like to see carte postale in the new catty. i know it’s a long shot, but i missed my chance to get it and i am really loving it!

  101. Trishon 08 May 2007 at 2:45 pm

Cute Card! I would love to see hodgepodge hardware sets in the colour families. And as a Canadian demonstrator, many of my scrapbooking customers would dearly love to see a good hockey stamp set.

  102. Barbara S. (FL)on 08 May 2007 at 3:20 pm

Your blog is wonderful & TFS… I would love to see more flourish stamp sets in the new catalog.

  103. Carolon 08 May 2007 at 3:40 pm

What a cute card! As far as the SU catty goes, I’d love to see more large flowers, like the Primas! I am also a punch fiend, so it wouldn’t hurt if they threw in some more unique punches too! Wouldn’t it be cool if they started carrying alterable items too, like the Provocraft tins or something! Dreaming….

  104. stamplauraon 08 May 2007 at 4:05 pm

Love your Mother’s Day shaped card!! The stitching looks sooooo good!
I would also like to see lots of new embellishments and polka dotted ribbon!!

  105. Charlotte Boggson 08 May 2007 at 4:17 pm

Awesome card! I’d like to see some new die cut stamps in the catty.

  106. leslierichon 08 May 2007 at 4:53 pm

This is a sure winner, Lindsey, and it’s got my vote! I’d love to see some really beautiful new flower sets in the new catalog. Big surprise, huh? Some great new embellishments would be cool, too, since I’ve already got too many stamps!

  107. Julieon 08 May 2007 at 5:39 pm

I would definitely like to see some fresh punches. Those scalloped punches have been so hot this year. I would also like to see SU have a better selection of designer papers (12×12). And…. (boy this just gets keep getting longer!) I would love to see a monogram stamp set to make stationary, personalized note cards, etc.

  108. Julianaon 08 May 2007 at 6:18 pm

I would most like to see in the new catty is:
Coloring friendly cute girly images. Living large was too hard to teach newbies to color, but the images were great. And that retired, anyway. The next thing is scalloped punches–I don’t think there is much hope for that one. Finally, stickles. They are so easy, my customers do not like the mess of glitter, but they like the look.

  109. Elaineon 08 May 2007 at 6:29 pm

well, I would love to have more embellishments also, and I would actully like SU to give us alphabets in acrylic - it is so much easier to stamp words that way!!

  110. MonicaAon 08 May 2007 at 6:29 pm

Congrats on making the top 15. Your card is gorgeous! In answer to your question, I would like to see SU take on Primas in colors to match their colors!

  111. susan hatchon 08 May 2007 at 6:42 pm

    amazing card! I love shapes.

I’d like to see new animal stamps in the new catalog

    susan hatch

  112. Jan Schollon 08 May 2007 at 8:20 pm

I would love more of those huge background stamps. But the one image I have looked and looked for and never found anywhere is a British or Irish pub. I have a little drunk guy and some UK flora and fauna but not pub for my little guy.

  113. Melissa Rothon 08 May 2007 at 8:34 pm

Your Idol card is top-notch so best of luck to you. I hope the new catalog has more small images that don’t require a lot of coloring, sort of in the style of AMuse.

  114. […] you’d better hurry if you want a chance at what Lindsey’s giving away on her blog, Embellished.  Lindsey’s always got something wonderful to look at and fun things going on with her […]

  115. Debbie Olsonon 08 May 2007 at 10:48 pm

WOW! Just love your shaped card–a real beauty!

  116. Pat Hineson 09 May 2007 at 1:55 am

Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing the link. You say you want more embellishments. Me…it’s gotta be punches!!

  117. Libbyon 09 May 2007 at 3:37 am

Oh I love this shaped card, so pretty! What I’d love to see in the new catty is a cute new baby set, and of course more great flowers sets! Love the flowers!

  118. Sharon (notimetostamp)on 09 May 2007 at 3:51 am

What a gorgeous card — you’ve got my vote!!! I would like to see many things in the new catty: 1) More variety in ribbons, and I’d like to be able to get them in large quantities, as opposing to the 2 yards each on the Ribbon Original cards; 2) Same for the DP, I love the coordinating packs, but would love to be able to order quantities of just a few sheets for larger projects, so I’m real pleased that the new Palette is coming out in individual color packages; 3) I wish when they show the DP, that they’d have a list right with it as to which SU colors of paper/ink these are in the DP, sometimes it is hard to tell in the picture; and, of course, 4) Fun new stamp sets!!!

  119. donna calamarion 09 May 2007 at 4:01 am

I would like to see new colors. A chartreuse green to make my pinks and oranges pop, a new purple shade (I hate vintage violet); a spring tangerine or a better coral color; another gorgeous shade of aqua (love cool caribb), and most of all, a clean, bright berry color (cranberry looks like red mud to me).

  120. Mimion 09 May 2007 at 4:15 am

I would love to see lots more of our beautiful double sided paper. Not just the pallet of prints but more like we have been seeing this past year. And, I know this is asking too much but I would love to see SU go acrylic! Great candy. I have 2 daughters so this would be used with much love! Thanks!

  121. Pat S.on 09 May 2007 at 5:33 am

It was easy to vote for your card….it was my favorite anyway!

Sharon (notimetostamp) listed one of the things I would most like to see in the new catty: packages of individual designs of the designer paper.

And…I have to add a comment on this one….
why does SU feel it necessary to print their logo on the corner of each sheet of paper?! What a waste to have to trim it off! (I sent a letter to SU, asking this question. Anxious to hear their reply.)

Having the list of coordinating colors would be such a great help…so we can order the DP and the cardstock at the same time.

  122. tanja fussellon 09 May 2007 at 5:37 am

Wow! I’m so glad someone directed me to your blog! These blogs have opened up a whole new world of ideas and techniques for me! Your work is beautiful!

  123. Linda Bullardon 09 May 2007 at 5:58 am

Congrats on passing 1000 comments AND making the PaperCrafts Top 15, Leslie! I love your gorgeous new entry, and I just voted for you. So many wonderful details to enjoy on this one. You did just great on the shape and 3D requirements. In the new SU! Catty, I would love to see more vintage/masculine stamps. Linda

  124. Genyon 09 May 2007 at 6:08 am

Congrats on the PaperCraft Idol! Your cards are beautiful! Let’s see in the new catalog I would love to see the new In Colors come in markers instead of just stamp pads. And like you, I would also love to see some new embellies-like twinkle stickers, glitter glue etc….
    Geny

  125. buzzyon 09 May 2007 at 6:11 am

Lovely card! I’m visiting your site for the first time today. I don’t have any deep desires for the new catty, but I hope they can build excitement with some jaw dropping designs and products.

  126. Heidion 09 May 2007 at 6:19 am

I think that I am like you- more embellishments: primas in different sizes but our colors would be so awesome! I think that I would like to see more masculine sets as well- we have a lot of testosterone at my house!

  127. Andreaon 09 May 2007 at 6:20 am

Holy Holy Holy Smokes is your Stuff Cool!!! Free Stuff Too,,,, Wow, its Hot in Here!! =)

ps….it the New SU!! More Tools to Demo a million ways!! GO SU!!

  130. Mary Rageron 09 May 2007 at 6:36 am

I would love for SU! new “In Colors” to have some more puples. A very vibrant purple, deeper than lovely lilac. I also hope to see less cute and lots more flowers.
It won’t matter, I’ll still want everything!

  131. Tinaon 09 May 2007 at 6:55 am

ok I scanned and I haven’t posted to win yet! snort !
hmmmmmm what I would like to see them offer is and remember I have only ordered from them since February and I don’t know ALL that they have . . .but I would like to see some stamps with barns, old barns, I LOVE barns!!! :)
    Tina

  132. Susan Gon 09 May 2007 at 7:36 am

I’ve just discovered you–I’ll be visiting often. Great cards!!!! I’d like to see more single word stamps to make phrases with, but in a larger font that Flexible Phrases.

  133. Angieon 09 May 2007 at 7:48 am

What a beautiful card! I’ll be voting for it later! you did a GREAT job!!!
now for a chance to win CANDY!
since I’m a newbie, the main things I am looking forward to is all of the new stamp sets…. and i must say that I’m hooked on embellishments too!

  134. Toni Whitnellon 09 May 2007 at 7:59 am

Wonderful card! This is my first visit, I’ll be back! What I’d like to see in the new SU catty is some nice quotes/sayings. Large sized, so they can be a main image on a card.

  135. Stampingwithheatheron 09 May 2007 at 8:00 am

Just found your blog! Very beautiful card. I would just love to win some blog candy. Anyway to subscribe to your blog?

  136. Barb Ton 09 May 2007 at 8:21 am

    Hey Lindsey
The thing I would most like to see are more embellishments like flowers and
also more vintage floral stamps. I love floral stamps and they seem to be
getting rid of a lot now.

  137. Sheryl (Dylbrett)on 09 May 2007 at 8:38 am

I’d love to see more ribbons & I’d also like to see markers in the “In” colors. That would be awesome!

  138. Bernice Don 09 May 2007 at 9:09 am

Great card! Thanks for sharing….I would like to see more stamps available in your choice of mounted or unmounted.

  139. Kim Milleron 09 May 2007 at 9:37 am

I would like to see brads that match the hodgepodge hardware. I always run out of brads and then have everything else left! Thanks for the blog candy. Your sight is beautiful!

  140. Jill Kielblockon 09 May 2007 at 10:02 am

Love the card — much more creative than anything I could have come up with. I’m with you about more embellishments — I’ve started to use more on my cards and would love to order stuff from SU but feel rather limited by their selection (or lack of selection)

  141. Lauren (mytime)on 09 May 2007 at 11:01 am

Lindsey you totally rcok! You are so gonna win! You got my vote girl! Love your stuff and your store.
    Hugs-

  142. Amyon 09 May 2007 at 11:54 am

I would like to see some cute, contemporary “hand stamped by” stamps in the new catalogue. Available individually, or to coordiinate with specific sets.

  143. Cynthiaon 09 May 2007 at 12:02 pm

You got my vote Lindz! Love everything you do!! I’d like to see some killer patterned paper, prima type flowers, and some great florals to replace all the florals I had left!!!!

  144. Pat S.on 09 May 2007 at 12:32 pm

Your “bucket of posies” card is awesome!
    I just love those colors.

What I would like to see in the new catty…
paper like what you used on the “bucket of posies” card :)

  145. Angie ~ SCS Duckwaddlequackon 09 May 2007 at 1:35 pm

What a fabulous floral card! :) I’m right there with you on wanting to see some more great embellies in the new catty!! I’m also really looking forward to some hopefully FABO Christmas sets - that’s my time of year and I LOVE Christmas stamps!! Hugs!

  146. Debbie Fisheron 09 May 2007 at 1:56 pm

Congratulations on the Papercrafts Idol challenge! Your card is absolutely beautiful!!
    Debbie

  147. Rosellaon 09 May 2007 at 2:20 pm

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous stuff! For the new SU catalog, I’m not sure if there is anything specific I would like to see. Probably the scallop edge punches. More chipboard accents. And since there are so many sets retiring, I am looking forward to seeing what they will come up with. Thanks so much for sharing!

  148. Erinon 09 May 2007 at 2:25 pm

Wow what an amazing card!! I’d agree with everyone else whose said embellishments I can never get enough, and anything that sparkles. Keep up your amazing creativity!!

  149. twinkson 09 May 2007 at 3:56 pm

I adore all your creations! Voted but also looked again at your 4 cards in their gallery and I must say, that I may “need” the ruffled flower set now. I loved how you described how your card came together with wonderful references to your mom.

Embellishments you say? I would love to see more in SU as well - but your eBay store would do as well. wink I’d love more of a selection in brads and ribbon choices rather than packages. Can’t wait to see the direction SU will be going in terms of new stamp sets. Happy Everything and Be Happy along with Peaceful Wishes were my favorites this past year. I’m not a demo, have more than110 sets that are retiring. :(

  150. Jeanieon 09 May 2007 at 4:08 pm

    Absolutley GREAT stuff! Love it!

  151. Shel9999on 09 May 2007 at 4:58 pm

  152. Britineyon 09 May 2007 at 6:42 pm

Ok, I don’t see a winner, YET so I’m trying to squeak in under the deadline. I honestly really don’t care what they put in other than all the new STAMPS!! I can’t wait to see all the new stamps! I love your blog. Thanks for taking time to share your creative genius!

What an awesome card, but then I love your style! New catalog… I think it would be fabulous if they added some scalloped punchs, a couple of great male stamp sets and more wonderful DP. BTW, awesome embellishments and paper for your blog candy. It would be wonderful to win…..love those primas!!

  159. bobbieon 10 May 2007 at 6:46 am

  163. Jennon 10 May 2007 at 7:51 pm

What a beautiful card! Love the shape and colors!
I have several wishes for hte next SU catty. Large scalloped lever punches, masculine stamp sets, more album options, chipboard books to cover with all of that beautiful designer paper and that glue pad that I have read about. I can’t remember who makes it.

  164. JanTinkon 11 May 2007 at 4:48 am

What do I want to see…MORE.

    More what?

MORE EVERYTHING! More embellishments: primas, ribbons, buttons, fun fun stuff to match my SU! colors! More stamps! More and more…I like more. You may have noticed that. Just call me the More Girl. More. I want it. All of it. Now. Thanks…love the blog!
