Way to use it Thursday!

Published by jacksonbelle under My Creations

Hello!!! Wow…can’t believe I have now done 2 challenges in a row over at Splitcoaststampers.com! Crazy! :) This week Julia’s challenge is to use transparency sheets! Luckily I still have a little piece left! :)

I started KNOWING I had to use my new Martha paper again! :) I used the Wood this time! (I used the Sunroom paper yesterday…neither of them as strange as texture as the bandanna paper so that’s AWESOME! :) ) AAHHH, LOVE the wood paper!! What I didn’t know was that some of the pages are METALLIC!! WAHOO!!! I’ll have to think of something really cool to use them with! GORGEOUS paper..I just love this new Martha Stewart line!! :)

I stamped the image in white stazon onto the transparency sheet, then let it dry. I stamped some itty bitty background on the wood paper background. Then I added the vellum, attached the main image and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I  know this is a super simple card, but I didn’t know what else to add with out it being too much! :) Thanks so much for stopping by!!!! :)

MARTHA!!!

Published by jacksonbelle under My Creations

Hello!!! Happy Wednesday!! :) I have to start by saying THANK YOU so much to all of you that have voted for me for the PaperCrafts Idol!! Voting goes until tomorrow (Thurdsay) morning! I am dying to know the results! lol! I will keep you posted!!

Yesterday I HAD to go to Michaels to see the new Martha stuff! WOW is it gorgeous! She just has the cutest things out! Everything from Paper Bouquets, gift bags, confetti, ribbon, scrapbooking, clear stamps, everything! I could have gone even crazier than I did! lol! I got 5 packs of paper, the mini circle and square scalloped punches and the lace border punch. So pretty! I have to say that the paper is soooo strange though. Well, I don’t know about strange, but different. It’s almost like plastic! It’s SO WEIRD! lololol!!! It’s very thin, you can’t tear it…..well you can, but it dosen’t look good lol, it’s like a thin vinyl almost. I tried to use the lace punch on it and it wouldn’t work either. It’s sure pretty though!! :)
