Hello!!! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! We sure did! We took the kids to the M & M factory on the strip, that was fun! I don’t know if it was just there or if it’s in the stores, but they have a special flavor right now, it’s raspberry. OMGOODNESS it’s delicious! YUM!
On the way there, saw some Lions at the MGM Grand hotel, hit the Disney Store, some parks, it was just great!
So that’s why my blog’s been slow this weekend! But I am back now!
Since I am playing catch up, I thought I’d share this simple card I made not too long ago! I was just aching to use this sentiment from Hampton Arts. I love it! So I thought maybe it would work with spiders.

Hello!! This card just makes me smile. My sister asked me if I could make a baby card using this set. I said of course, is it a boy or girl? (thinking I’d do it light pink or blue) She said NO, Black and red! lol. The mom to be loves pirates! I was going to add a “welcome little one” sentiment on it, but I thought the Ahoy Matey would be just fine! So now you know why I am smiling at it…it’s for a baby shower!
I just love doing different things! Can’t wait to hear what the mom says about it!

Hello!! This is so fun! I am the hostess today for Julia’s Ways to Use it challenge on Splitcoaststampers!! So I got to pick what it was, and SHOCKER….I picked Halloween!
I made this birthday card for my rockstar brother! The background paper is actually Martha Stewart tissue paper that I bought!
I thought it would make a great background. It cut really well! I lightly taped it on, then put the eyelets in the corner! I just HAD to use my new Jolly Roger flag too! I printed the sentiment out on the computer. I was going to use my Karen Foster Snap Stamps, but it would have been either too big or too small. I just have to smile everytime I read the sentiment! lol
I sure hope he likes it!

Hello! Hope your all having a great day!! A friend of mine is going through a tough time right now, so I thought I’d make her a card! I hope that it will cheer her up!
Maybe I should tape a picture of Willie inside of it…that would make anyone smile right!?
I wanted to use my new GORGEOUS Websters Pages paper. This paper is stunning. It’s designed by the talented Terri Conrad, and can purchase it HERE. I can’t wait. I have total of 4 new lines coming pretty soon too! Hopefully within a month. So excited, 2 are gorgeous Christmas lines!

Hello!!! Happy Monday! :) I wanted to share a few pictures of our trip to the Bingham Mine. We went there Saturday. It’s just so neat! The way the mine looks, the colors, gigantic trucks… FUN! (If you look closely, you can see little “dots”…those are actually GIGANTIC trucks….each tire is probably 10 feet tall or higher!) Both the boys LOVED it! So did the grown up’s!
Here’s a picture of the mine. It’s so much bigger than what’s shown, but you just can’t fit it all in the camera!

And here are our adorable boys! Here’s Brett…

And here’s Lil’ Austin!

I don’t know what got into the weather! We’ve been in the 100’s again, but it cooled off to **70** degrees that morning!! It was so nice! With the breeze I was so glad the boys had jackets! Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Have a super fun day!

Hello!!! Hope your all having a super fun weekend!! We are!! I’ll share a few pic’s tomorrow!
I thought I’d finish off the weekend post by sharing my last entry for the Inkadinkado contest!
I just LOVE all their new halloween sets!!!! Bats are my favorite! lol.
There’s 3 things that usually inspire my card. Either because I want to use a particular stamp, a ribbon or some cool designer paper and I go from there. This cards colors came from wanting to use this cool new May Arts ribbon!
First I stamped the Florish Bat on the lavender paper. I then stamped it 2 more times and cut the bat out. So the main bat and the flying bat are both on dimensionals. After I had the card assembled I desided that it needed somthing else. So with the help of my stamp a ma jig I added the flourishes from the bat on the sides of the card! I was soooo happy with the results! I hope you like it too!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the weekend!
