Happy Halloween!!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hi!!! What a fun day!! It’s always one of my favorite days of the year!! One of my favorite smells is the lit pumpkins on everyone’s doorsteps, mixed with the smell of Autumn. I love it!! Are any of you dressing up? I am not, I haven’t since I was a kid.  The  boys are being Buzz Lightyear and Donald Duck! If you have kiddo’s what are they being? I just hope we can get the Donald Duck costume on Austin long enought to get ONE picture! LOL!! :) Brett’s trick or treating at pre-school today, so he’ll be in his all day!

——

I just had to use some of my beloved Inkadinkado Halloween stamps one last time! Well…not ONE last time, but you know what I mean! ;) For the background I stamped my Jolly Roger Flag on white paper and then punched it out with the 1 1/4″ Stampin’ Up Circle punch. Thank you so much for looking! I hope you had a fantastic day today!! HUGS!!!!

Hello!!! Sheesh I love this paper. I think I could use it every day!! lol. I thought it would be fun to use my Floral Frenzy set again and make it Christmas! I colored the flowers with my blender pen, then highlighted them with my markers to give them more depth. :) The Noel comes from the Lizzie set Glad Tidings, love that one too. :) I sure hope you enjoy!!

Thanks Bunches!

Hello!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I was able to get caught up and cleaned up a little, so that’s made it a good one for me!  We had a great time raking and jumping in the leaves too! Awww, I love fall! :) While I was cleaning up I found some gorgeous Prima paper that had gotten lost in the mess lol. SO I knew right then that was it! I paired it with my Lizzie Anne Designs set called Floral Frenzy. I LOVE that set!

Hello!! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far!! :)  Here is another “non stamped, but I used my stuff” card! lol. I bought a darling little K and Company paper pad and these cute lil’ halloween 3-d Stickers from Michales a few months back. I just had to use them! :) The rubon is a Martha rubon again and the stitches, Daisy D! Another unused item on here are my Karen Foster Loopy Brads! I bought them probably over a YEAR now…and this is the first I’ve used them. My friend Michele uses her’s all the time. I really love them, you’ll defintely be seeing more! :) Speaking of Michele, you still have time to enter her’s AND Trudee’s giveaway!! They’ve got the pudding! ;)

Just Around the Corner

Published by jacksonbelle under My Creations

Hello!! It seems like last week that I was stalking Michaels waiting for the new Martha Halloween stuff to come out! I called our local Michaels every other day for 2 weeks waiting for it. So what happened…I got busy and it ended up sitting there…alone…in the bag it came in! :( This has been my story all Summer. So anyway, that was my goal this morning was to USE IT! Especially since it hit me that Halloween is Wednesday! I honestly cannot believe that!

Hey Sugar!!

Hello!!! WAHOOOOOO!!! I made a card today! I am seriously so excited. This is only the second project I’ve done in a week, but I am happy now! :)  I’ve known for days what I’ve wanted to use. My new Hey Sugar paper pack from Cosmo Cricket and my 2 new Cupcake stamps from Inkadinkado! I LOVE this new paper pack! The “backs” of the paper is just as gorgeous as the front!!  I knew I had to put these sweets together. All the cupcakes have crystal stickles all over them, but as always didn’t show up very well in the picture.

——

Product Spotlight! Quick and Easy Gift!

Published by jacksonbelle under My Creations

Hello!! Sorry it’s been a few days since I’ve posted! I’ll have more time once all the mono orders are filled! I am more than halfway done! YAY! :) I really wanted to do a product spotlight for my forum on Splitcoaststampers. I had asked for suggestions and one said the Basic Grey Chipboard, one said the Daisy D Transfer Tape Runners, so then I was thinking…hmm…which one! I decided to do all of them plus more! lol! :)

——

                    figgygiftset.JPG

I started out by covering this bag with the new Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper. I put the brown and blue polka dots first, then the presents paper, then a strip of the STUNNING Websters Pages Snowflake Dufex paper! This paper is so gorgeous. It’s much thicker than designer paper. It’s similar to the Stampin’ Up Brushed Metallic paper. I then decided it was time to add some Stitching! It would be rather difficult to faux sew on a bag, so I though the Daisy D transfer tape runners would be perfect and they were!! I tried so hard to get the zig zag to go over both layers, but that was proving to be very difficult. I could get it to for an inch or so, then it would mess up and I’d have to remove it and start over. So not wanting to waste any more I decided just to use it regularly. I used the layers of the paper as a guide so I could do it straight! :) These are so fun to use!! The white has little black dots on it to give it the appearance of depth! VERY COOL! My first thought was umm….hmm…. LOL. But I was wrong! :) Here is a close up for you!

——

                                    figgybagcloseup.JPG

I was trying to think of a stamp that I had that would be large and bold enough for the bag. Also one that could compete with all the patterns and colors I used. I couldn’t think of anything, then remembered the brand new Basic Grey Undressed Ornament Chipboard I have! This stuff ROCKS! It comes on thinner sheets of chipboard, you punch it out, peel the back off and stick it on! YES, I said stick! They are self adhered! The new Figgy Pudding Stickers match perfectly with the chipboard so I stuck the sticker on it, put stickles on the edges and added a little rhinestone for the center! So easy! For the final touch on the bag, I embossed my new Happy Holiday’s Inkadinkado stamp on the bottom right hand corner in the detail silver EP!

——

                                 figgy-giftbag.JPG

I thought it would be cute to make a matching gift tag. Very simple, a few layers of paper. I added 2 more lines of the straight stitch rubon’s at the bottom. Cut out a dufex snowflake and added a rhinestone. For the “curling ribbon” I cut a few strips of matching paper, tied them on with the hemp that’s holding the tag and curled them with a watercolor brush.

The card. Another very simple and easy card to make. A few layers of paper, a few row of stitches…did you see, I got themto go on on the two layers this time! YAY! :)

Another Figgy Sticker, some brads and more stickles!

I haven’t bought the new stamps for myself yet, but my friend Michele has and she actually has it on her blog today!! HERE is a link to see it! ALSO, she’s having a Blog Giveaway AND she’s giving away some Figgy Pudding!! YUM! :) So make sure to stop by!  I am going to have a little challenge until Nov. 5th. If you make a card using any Figgy Pudding, Websters Dufex, Basic Grey Chipboard or Daisy D Transfer Tape’s, link me your blog or gallery and I will randomly draw a winner for a goodie bag!! :D Thanks so much for stopping by! HUGS!

Wonderland Kind of Weekend!

Published by jacksonbelle under Uncategorized

Hello!! Hope your all having  a wonderful weekend!!! It’s turned from Wonderland Friday to Wonderland weekend! ;) I actually made this awhile back, but since I am busy doing tape orders, I thought I’d share it with you! :)

——
The chipboard that it’s on, are the Cosmo Cricket Buck Naked lacing cards. They are awesome.! They come in a 4 pack and both sides have holes in them so you can lace them together! I then covered all of it in the gorgeous Wonderland Paper. At the time I didn’t have any letters that would fit, so I traced and cut out the Halfway Cafe Die Cut letters onto Chocolate Chip paper and sponged the edges. I hope you enjoy!!

——

Mono Update: I am about 4/10ths of the way through the orders! It’s taking quite a bit longer than I thought it would, although I can see there’s a clear dent in that pile of boxes! ;) So please be patient with me! I am working as hard as I can! Thank you so much for those who given thanks for me doing this! You’re all so sweet! :)

A Wonderland Kind of Friday.

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! WAHOO for Friday!! :) I really cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was to break open my new pack of Cosmo Cricket  Wonderland paper last night! When I heard it had been discontinued I honestly could have cried! But it’s BACK now AND has new, papers added to the collection! I am one happy girl! I really had a blast making this card, I hummed Christmas songs the whole time! lol!

——

I knew I wanted to use my new Inkadinkado Pinecone stamp. I absolutely LOVE their new holiday line. You can see it all HERE. Tomorrow is the last day for my 10% off stamp sale. ALL stamps in my store which include Inka, Lizzie and FancyPants are 10% off. Anyway, back to the card, I knew it would be the perfect match for the pinecone Wonderland paper!  I adhered some of the new Cosmo Jolly Rubon’s to the vanilla strip that’s just under the pinecone. For the sentiment (also Inka), I stamped it first in Vanilla Craft ink, then in Black stazon. I know Brown would have “matched” better but it wouldn’t have shown up as good either…plus I couldn’t find it lol!! :) I finished it off by adding crystal stickles to both the pinecone and the pinecone paper!

——

I have loved every single one and already have NO IDEA how on earth I am going to judge this! You still have plenty of time to enter!
