JBE Challenge Tuesday!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello! Hope you’re all having a great week so far!! This week we thought it would be fun to highlight one of our designers and case one of their cards! This week we decided to case Erin! I chose THIS card! I loved how the 3 pieces went off the card, I haven’t ever done that before.

Once again, I couldn’t wait to tear into some of my new goodies! I went to Michaels this weekend and got 3 of the new Martha punches! They are SOOOOO fun! I used the “goo” punch and the “bat” punch on this card! I LOVE them! She has the best Halloween stuff! I got a few of her Halloween decorations for around the house too! I also used my new Imaginisce paper. I used the Eat Drink and be Scary paper. The cute mummy kitty comes from the Ghouls and Goblin’s Inkadinkado stamp set! :) I had a ton of fun making it! I hope you like it!

1st Day of School & a Birthday!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Awww, today was the first day of Kindergarten for us! Man, that was a tough one! He looked so cute and he was SOOO excited. Course when we got there he started being a little shy. At least I wasn’t the only parent balling their eyes out! lol. Here is a few pic’s of him!

brettyschool.JPGbrettyschool2.JPG

Today is also my brothers birthday!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHREEEEOS!!!! :) My brother is a rockstar. No, really…he is! He is an amazing guitar and drum player and has been in bands his whole adult life. He’s been asked by an elite group to play with them in Portland where he is living now! That hopefully will explain why I always make him skeleton cards! ;) We both love Halloween too, so it’s usually my favorite birthday card I make all year!

I couldn’t WAIT to cut into my new Cosmo Cricket Haunted paper pack and ink up my new Inka Skulls set! I don’t know that you can see it, but I used Candle Light Shimmerz on all the skulls and skeleton’s! :) I also sponged the edges with the Coal Shimmerz. I hadn’t done that before with the Shimmerz, it worked really well! The embossed part is the Skeleton Scroll from Provo Craft! I hope you enjoy!

Jack Goes to the Pumpkin Patch!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! I hope you are all having a fantastic day!! I LOVE Tuesday’s!! I LOVE doing the Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenges with the Design Team!! This week I got to pick a product to highlight and I chose the new Jack’s World paper by Cosmo Cricket! It’s such fun paper and very fitting for this time of year…I am thinking Back to School ect! :) Of course when it came to making the card, I had to do something out of the norm. I thought I’d add some Pumpkin paper (by Stampin’ Up!) and color come pupmpkins! :)

I used the Autumn Foliage set by Inkadinkado. I colored, then cut them out. Turns out when I was finished, I didn’t really have to take the time to cut them out, but I guess I like to make things a little more difficult! ;) After I figured I’d use the sentiment that I did (also from that set) I grabbed my gold gel pen and added some stitching and some gold detail on the pumpkin’s and leaves! I hope you enjoy!

shimmeredpumpkinscloseup.JPG

I used the new Inkadinkado set Autumn Foliage. I LOVE this set! I didn’t color the pumpkin with anything but the new Shimmerz. I used the beeswax to paint the pumpkin, then I mixed the rustic red and beeswax to make a light orange to highlight it. The leaves were all colored with the sagebrush! I also broke open my new Pumpkin Harvest Cuttlebug folder for the background! (OH, and I made that shimmery too! :) )
The eyelets are from We R Memory Keepers, I have those back in stock now too! See, I told you! Lots of new stuff to enable you with! ;) I hope you enjoy your weekend!! Make sure to check out the Shimmerz blog to see lots of fantastic ideas! Thanks so much for stopping by! :D

I really wanted to use this cute Rain Boots paper from October Afternoon! I found it challenging when I was coloring the cupcakes though, so I added some green galore and barely banana. It’s sorta strange, but I think it worked out ok! :) I hope you enjoy!
