Hello! Hope you all have fun plans for the weekend! Yesterday the doc said if all goes well, we MAY get to bring Austin home tonight! I am crossing my fingers, but I am thinking it would be more like Sunday anyway. Time will tell! He’s now eating on his own and looking great!!

I got these new Inkadinkado sets in a few days ago! I just LOVE them all!!! I’ve had the Rockstar one for a few weeks (yes, I felt special lol) and made this super fun card!

  Hello and Happy Wednesday! (WOW, I haven’t said THAT in awhile! lol) My lil’ man is getting out of the PICU tonight and into a regular hospital room! HORRAY!!!! Shouldn’t be more than a few days and he will be back HOME!!! YAY!!!! I really cannot thank you all sooooooooooo much for your kind words, it REALLY means the world to me! Thank you SO MUCH! Because I am actually smiling ear to ear right now, I thought I’d share this silly card I made a few weekends ago!

I bought these K and Company rubon’s from Archivers and HAD to use them! The orange paper is part of the new Yellow Bicycle line. (I am pretty sure) I think it’s silly because of the googly eyes….I LOVE googly eyes! lol. I hope you enjoy!

I have a bit of enabling as well! (It’s been awhile for that too! SEE, you KNOW my baby is getting better! lol) I just got and posted 3 huge giganto boxes worth of Prima! Hello!! Just a quick update! They DID take him off the ventilator today and he is doing great!! He is on just a TINY bit of oxygen, but they think it’s just fine (still coming off sedation ect) He looked at me today and knew it was me! I showed him his favorite blankey and stuffed animals, I could tell he was happy. Poor thing is trying to talk but his poor throat is soooo sore. I still think it will be a slow recovery, Tuesday marks the 1 week point, I am just crossing my fingers we can bring him home Sunday! (see…I am not even asking for the WHOLE weekend, just some! ;)) Poor Brett (my 5 yr. old) he’s really been through a whirlwind too, I can’t wait for things to get back to “normal”!

Hello! Thank you all so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it! FINALLY as of Sunday (yesterday) he’s finally getting better! They are HOPING to get him off the ventilator today, if not hopefully tomorrow. That would be SO awesome! I just can’t wait to hold him again!

Hello! I hope your week is going great. Ours really took a turn for the worse. Tuesday morning my lil’ 2 yr old was rushed to the hospital for respiratory problems. He’s been in the pediatric ICU since then. Looks like we’ll be here AT LEAST through the weekend. They are saying now that he has strep phenumonia, it’s in his blood too, but they do have him on antibiotics and it’s doing it’s job! So please keep my little angel in your thoughts!

On a little brighter side, I was excited to share this card. I made it using the Inka sets Halloween Trails and the bat from Creepy Crawly. I pared it with the new Spellbound Making Memories paper. I just love it. The button is from that collection too.

The red paper is actually some velvet paper that I found at Craft Warehouse! I am not sure if you can tell how cool it really looks in person! I also used Rachel’s new Oval Spellbinders die too. I haven’t ever used them and I am sure that I will be getting them VERY soon for myself and probably for the store!

    Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend! We sure did. I got to spend some time stamping at my friend Rachel’s house on Saturday. It was fun, I ACTUALLY got several cards made! I cannot remember the last time THAT happened! I couldn’t wait to tear into all my recent shopping trip bags! I bought the new Spellbound and Fa La La collections from Making Memories and the new Little Yellow Bicycle paper called Frightful. It’s SO darling! This card uses that paper. The spider web paper in the back is awesome! . It’s raised, and is so cool! The transparency I used on the left is by Hambley!

The stamp set is one of my favorites! Creepy Crawly from Inkadinkado! I used Pumpkin Pie ink for the Spider. The brads are the Eye of Newt Glittery Brads from Imaginisce.

Hello!! Hope you’re all having a great week!! It’s been SO nice here, feels like fall is around the corner and I LOVE IT! I wanted to share a few more of my new Verve samples with you! I hope you enjoy!

This one uses the Grateful Elegance set! This whole card was dipped into a pot of Shimmerz! ;)  I colored the flowers in Rustic Red, then I did the background patterned paper with the Candle Light! I distressed all the edges and did the faux sewing just eying it out! The strip behind the flowers was stamped on a transparency sheet.

This card uses the Artful Elegance stamp set!  I used the new Ambrosia paper by Basic Grey! I also was reminded making this card how much I love clear stamps! Made it MUCH less time consuming to do the scrolls then using a stamp a ma jig! I ran the top part of the card through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. When I was done I sponged everything to make the dots stand out a little more!

Hello!! I hope you are all having a great day!! I told you there would be a fun announcement today and here it is!!

It’s a new Inkadinkado contest for my store Jacksonbelle Embellishments!! Here’s the deets: Starting Today and Every Tuesday this month we (the fantastic Design Team and I) Will be posting a sketch! We’d LOVE for you to play along! What’s in it for me, you ask?

The grand prize winner will receive a $50.00 Gift Certificate to my store! 2nd Place, $30.00 and 3rd place $15.00! There will be a goodie package going out to ALL winners!! If you decide to play each week, creating a card based on all 4 sketches, your name will be entered into a random drawing and THAT person will also win a goodie bag!

SO, you are probably wondering what do you have to do!? You have to use Inkadinkado Stamps (newer…from this Spring-until now) as well as use one of our sketches that I will post here each Tuesday! You can enter as many times as you’d like! You are also free to post anywhere you’d like! We will post coordinating Keywords for the sketches if you are posting on Splitcoaststampers.com, we will all be able to see your card(s)!

Following the last Tuesday’s challenge (Sept. 29th), you will have until Wednesday, Sept. 30th at midnight (EST) to get your cards in to Lynda!
