Christmas for the Birds

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Horray for the weekend! I hope you all have something fun planned! I am going shopping with my boys and friend Rachel! I can’t wait! : )

I was so honored when Lynda asked me to be her guest for the OCC challenge today!! Thanks again Lynda! The challenge is to make a Holiday Gift! I don’t know WHAT got into me, but I saw this birdhouse that I bought months ago and decided to have at it! :) I painted it with some brown paint. I only used 1 layer of paint because I liked the look of it with the wood still showing through. I cut out the mistletoe and pine spray for the top. The roof has more of the lace trim and some red paper with holly stamped on it. (The holly comes from the same set I used for the whole thing….Cool Christmas from Inkadinkado) I wrapped linen thread around the 2 bird “stands” …. I have no idea what you’d really call them.

The card and jar are pretty straight forward. My hand was sore after cutting this all out though! :) I couldn’t have done it without my beloved EK Success Cutterbee Scissors! Here are my pictures. I am attaching the individual ones too so you can see them better close up! :)

JBE Tuesday, CHRISTMAS!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! Hope you all had a great weekend!!! The Design Team and I thought it would be fun to do a Product Spotlight this week! We thought we’d keep it more general and do anything Christmas! Awww, there are so many new fun Christmas item’s out there! I wanted to pair my new Wassail paper with the darling Inka set Peppermint Twist! I lovvvve both of these products!

I stamped the polkadot trees in Always Artichoke ink on the green Wassail paper and cut out the top. The red piece under that was punched with my new Martha Stewart snowflake border punch. I then sponged it with my Chocolate Chip ink pad to define the embossed snowflakes better! I stamped the main tree with the Artichoke on white paper and cut it out to make it stand out a little better. The snowflake bling comes from Hero Arts. I love those little things! :) The trim is from the GORGEOUS new Websters Pages trim collection!

When I was finished I added the faux sewing on the top and bottom and the corner punched piece! I hope you enjoy!! Make sure to check out all the other awesome designers blogs!! I know you will love them! Have an awesome day! HUGS!

JBE Tuesday, 4 Layer Card!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! It’s time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge! Lynda thought it would be fun this week to try and make a card that has 4 or less layers! Well….I did it with the paper, but if you count the embellishments, ect. I am WAY over, so I am pretending it was just paper! lol.

I couldn’t WAIT to cut into this new Websters Pages paper! (actually…it’s so pretty I thought about just wallpapering my stamp room in it lol.) The darling trim comes from there too! I paired it with one of my favorite “older” Inka stamps, Botanical Script! I love it. I also used a few other Inka clear sets! The new Happy Days for the Butterfly and Garden Flower for some background stamping.

              jbehydrangea.JPG

After I stamped the Hydrangea on the acetate, I colored with the copic markers on the back side. I really tried hard with this card not to cover up the designer paper! I hope you enjoy!

Ink: Timber Brown Stazon (Tsukineko)

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Shimmery White Vellum and Acetate (Stampin’ Up!)

Bright and Fun Snowman

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Wahooooo for the weekend!! I SO hope I can find some extra time to make a ton of cards this weekend! That’s my plan anyway! :) I made this card a few nights ago. I just love this snowman. I thought it would be fun to pair it with my new favorite Christmas paper. It’s the new Happy Holiday’s line from Fancy Pants Designs! I love the fun colors. The pack also has some more traditional colored paper in it too! The fun ball trim comes from Fancy Pants too! I hope you enjoy!

I colored the snowman with my copic markers, then added a ton of Stardust stickles to the bottom so it looks like it’s sitting in sparkley snow! :) I hope you have a great weekend!

Hello! I hope you are all doing well! It has cooled off BIG time here…actually, that’s a lie..it’s down right COLD! We are supposed to get rain/snow tomorrow so I thought it would be appropriate to post this fun Christmas card. I sat fun because the people on the stamp look like they are having fun! lol. I FINALLY used some of my new A Muse stamps! I have TONS of them but they are so neglected! I paired them with my new Making Memories Christmas paper! The snowflake and jewel brad are from the collection also! I hope you enjoy! Have a great rest of the day!

Playing with Prima!

Published by jacksonbelle under Uncategorized

Hello!! Happy Wednesday! I am LOVING all this new Prima! I’ve been eyeing these Down Home kits for weeks now and couldn’t wait to tear into it. The one I used is Apple Pie. I am not a huge chipboard person (well actually, this stuff is more like cardboard) but they looked SO fun, and they were! When I tore into it my eye was immediatly drawn to this square scalloped piece. It measures about 5″. I sponged it with ruby red ink. I glued it to a 5″ square vanilla card. All the ribbon and flowers are from the kit too! I took off some of the flowers that were on THIS flower because it was too big. But now I have more for later! :)

                 sequincelebrate.JPG

The Celebrate is from the Inka clear set called Chelsea Sentiments. I don’t know where the sequins come from, but I think I need to get more! They were fun! :)  Not much stamping, but there wasn’t any more room! lol. I hope you enjoy!

If you haven’t entered the Jacksonbelle Embellishments Blog Candy, make sure to run HERE and do so! :D A little MORE enabling…the new Fancy Pants Designs and more Websters Pages are now in stock! YAY! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!!
