Off to Coon Country
Hope you’re all having a great weekend. We’re off camping again. Last time we went camping we were pestered by racoons. They were coming into our camp at night trying to steal … oh…trying..I mean they WERE stealing our food and fighting over it. Let me tell you… Racoons are LOUD when you are in a tent at 3 in the AM scared to death! They sound like 2 freakin’ mountain lions fighting! lol. Thank GOODNESS the kids didn’t wake up during the night because it would have been REALLY hard to say “OH, it’s nothing kids…go to sleep!” lol. Anyway, I found this MFT stamp set (that I had bought for the moose) and HAD to make a coon card! The inside of the card is what’s the best. I wrote it to my boyfriend like it was to him from the racoons.

The sky is bashful blue paper from Stampin’ Up. I cut out a few clouds from the October Afternoon Paper “Picking Pumpkins“. I outlined them and the racoons eyes with crystal stickles.

all I can say is that I guess coons are better than possums?!?!
when we went this weekend, we were invaded with racoons too at 3am to be quite exact. they were not afraid of my husband coming at them with a fishing pole in the slightest. they were babies and they just looked at us like “what are ya gonna do???” After we got rid of the garbage bag they wanted they still hung around our campsite. And yes, they are loud. we had fun though!
