Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! I CANNOT believe it’s Friday already!! This week went by SO fast! We had Brett’s Preschool Graduation and Carnival last night, it was the sweetest thing ever!! Poor Brett though, couldn’t get his face painted or play in the bouncy thing until AFTER so his hair wouldn’t get messed up! lol :)

I was lucky enough to help Julee put stamp sets into the plastic for her! Rachel and Amy came too! It was a blast! She really is a sweetheart…thanks again Julee! (you better be callin’ again soon! :) ) So I obviously could not pass up getting them…they are TOO CUTE!! I made this quick card last night using the Flutter By set and my new Prima Dude paper! :)

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello! I hope you’re all having a great week! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my whole family!! I cannot WAIT! It’s been years since we’ve ALL been together at the same time! Usually my brother or my sister miss each other by anywhere from a day to a week! THIS will be a great weekend! :) They are coming up for the boys birthday’s! My little guy just turned 2 and our oldest  will be 5 on Friday! WAHOO!!

I made this card a little bit ago using one of my favorite sets In the Garden by Inkadinkado! I am not a person who would openly admit they liked purple, but I really do, especially paired with brown! ;) (shhh) The main flower is cut out and mounted with a pop up glue dot for dimension. *I have more of these sets on order, hopefully next week they will be here*

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello! I hope you are all having a great day!! Hope you had a great weekend too! My little Austin turned 2 on Sunday, it was so fun! I can’t believe he’s getting so big so fast! Brett turns 5 of Friday too, such a fun busy week! :)

Some of the Design Team and I decided to do our first challenge!! We figured we should keep it semi generic this time since we don’t all have the same things! We went with a Grey, Green and Pink color challenge!! I knew right away I wanted to use my Stampin’ Up Basic Grey. I love that color! I don’t know if I ever told you or not, you can use your Copic’s with it too! It doesn’t run! :) I also thought I’d give you all a little sneak peak! I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few of the new Inkadinkado stamps that are being released…well…any second! :) I am HOPING they will be here within a week! There are 3 new lines and I think they are just gorgeous! The sentiment I used is from the last new release! :) I hope you enjoy!

Favorite Find, Magnetic Snaps!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Happy Friday!!! I am so excited, we’re heading to the Zoo today for a Preschool Field Trip! I can’t wait, the boys are going to LOVE that! :)

So I have a product that I’d LOVE to tell you about! I know these Magnetic Snaps are not new at ALL, but they are new to me! I sorta bought them on a whim and have used a whole pack now! LOL! They are SO COOL! I made this Z fold card. (I used the awsome tutorial that I saw at Beate’s Blog.) Well the Z fold obvioulsy dosen’t stay closed very well…and  I couldn’t think of an embellishment to put on the card to hold it closed, so I turned to my snaps! :)

      thinkinofyou1.JPG

After I was done making the card, I put a pair of the snaps on the left side of the card to hold that down. But then the middle part (scalloped section) was coming up..so I put one on there. So I wanted to put one on there…however, I didn’t want to have a metal silver thing in the middle of the inside of the card. Well…It WORKED through the 2 layers of the “inside paper”!  There IS a snap behind the scalloped piece and then behind the chocolate and rust paper!

And here’s a pic of the snaps that are holding the left side down! :)

Congratulations

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello!! Horray for the weekend!! I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to all the gals that sent in Design Team Submissions! They are all WONDERFUL!!!!! Now for the hard part….picking…. I really dread this. There are FAR more than 5 deserving ladies…actually everyone of them are deserving! I may have to call in back up for judging! lol.

I made this gift card holder a few days ago. At first I was wanting it to be ALL red and white, but it wasn’t working, too much color on color, you couldn’t see it. So after all that, I wish that I had done a black card base, but I didn’t want to remake it lol. This is the darling Inka set called Garden Variety. I hadn’t pulled it out in MONTHS! It was fun to play with it again! The black card inside pulls out and there is a spot for a gift card OR just a space to write! :)

A Challenge with Lynda and WT!

Published by jacksonbelle under Inkadinkado Designs

Hello Happy Thursday!! Lynda and I thought it was about time for another challenge with each other! Make sure to check out what she did!! I just love doing them! We thought it would be fun to use our new Crate Paper and Inka Cupcake set! :) I also wanted to do the Ways to use it challenge that was Using Scissors today, so I added that in! :) Nothing like multitasking right!? I didn’t cut out much, but I did cut out the cupcake and flower. The cupcake was then put on with pop up glue dots! I traced the cupcake with my new glitter gel pen that I got at Rachel’s store! It’s much more sparkley in person! (I also got my white gel pen from there…works MUCH better than the one I was using before!)

*Just a few reminders* :)

I am having a sale in my store until Sunday! Cosmo Cricket and Glimmer Mist have been greatly discounted! Click HERE to view!!

There’s only 2 days left (today and tomorrow) to enter my Design Team search! Thanks to all that have entered so far! They are all fantastic!!
