Take Two! Lizzie Meets Basic Grey!

Hello!! It’s been SO LONG since my friends Michele, Trudee and Julia have done a Take Two challenge with each other, so we made a point of doing one! :) We thought it would be fun to use Lizzie Anne Designs Stamps and Basic Grey paper! I had my treetop set out from yesterday’s card, so I thought I’d use it again! I thought I should go in a totally different direction though, so I thought I’d leaf it! lol. I didn’t really think I was going to like it with the leaves on, but I think it turned out okay! After I was done stamping the leaves I thought it needed something,  so I cut 4 extra and  popped them up with pop up glue dots! Do you recognize the paper? It’s actually Figgy Pudding! :)

Here is a close up of the leaves.

Design Team Challenge Tuesday!

Hello!! Hope you’re all having a wonderful day!! It’s time for another Design Team challenge! This week Kisa chose an awesome color combo for us to all use. Brown, Orange and Green. It sounded slightly scary at first, but then when I was looking through some paper, I saw the Crush collection from Crate Paper and saw that it would work perfectly! So I used that! I Do love this color combo! I paired it with my neglected In the Treetop stamp set from Lizzie. I LOVE this set, I have got to use it more often!

So my friend Rachel was at my house looking for some glue. Needless to say…we were in a mess and we couldn’t find it lol. So she had the brilliant idea to use stickles for glue in attaching dew drops! It WORKED and it looks so neat!! HERE is a picture of her awesome card that she made! (Now if only *I* could use my scraps so well! :) )

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!!!

Loads Of Fun!

Happy Saturday!! I hope you’re all out having a great time! We had Brett’s first T-Ball game today! It was so darned cute! All those lil’ 4 and 5 yr. olds! :) Half of them not knowing which way to go! Awww ! :)

I made this card for my little nephew’s 2 yr. old birthday. I couldn’t figure out where to put the sentiment, so it’s on the inside. It says “I hope your birthday is loads of fun” :) I paired it with the new Hello Sunshine paper! I cut the teal paper (yes…I said teal, as in taken with teal lol) with my Creative Memories Wavy cutter. I hope you enjoy!

Out of This World

Hello!! I hope you all had a great weekend!!! I have a funny story about this card. I made it a few weeks ago, but thought it needed something else so I left it on my stamping table. I have looked at it 100 times thinking of what I could add. Well I finally looked at it again last night and decided that I don’t think it needed anything, so here we go! lol. Funny..I guess it just grew on me!

Happy Saturday!!

HI! Hope you all have some fun things planned for the weekend!! My friend and I are going to make some cards tonight! I can’t wait, should be fun!! (guess I should finish cleaning up my stamp room! lol) I hope we get lots made!! :) I made another card using the It’s a party set by Lizzie Anne Designs. I wanted to see if I could make it look a little less girly (still thinking about what to do for my boys birthdays) I think it’s getting closer! lol. I punched the scalloped party circles out (eliminating the scallops) with a circle punch.
