Hello!! I had to make another quick coon card for another person that’s off camping with us right now. I’m not thrilled with it at all, but it was a TON of fun using the new Pine Forest Punch from Martha Stewart. Had I not used it.. I probably wouldn’t have posted it! LOL! Oh well, he’ll get a kick out of it!

Hope you’re all having a great weekend. We’re off camping again. Last time we went camping we were pestered by racoons. They were coming into our camp at night trying to steal … oh…trying..I mean they WERE stealing our food and fighting over it. Let me tell you… Racoons are LOUD when you are in a tent at 3 in the AM scared to death! They sound like 2 freakin’ mountain lions fighting! lol. Thank GOODNESS the kids didn’t wake up during the night because it would have been REALLY hard to say “OH, it’s nothing kids…go to sleep!” lol. Anyway, I found this MFT stamp set (that I had bought for the moose) and HAD to make a coon card! The inside of the card is what’s the best. I wrote it to my boyfriend like it was to him from the racoons. I hope you enjoy!

The sky is bashful blue paper from Stampin’ Up. I cut out a few clouds from the October Afternoon Paper “Picking Pumpkins“. I outlined them and the racoons eyes with crystal stickles.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have fun plans for the weekend!!! When I first saw this set from MFT, I knew immediatly I had to have it. Michele is SUCH an enabler! She sold me on my first CHF AND MFT set! Anyway, I couldn’t WAIT to use it!!! I actually tried paper piecing for the first time too! That was really fun! I’ll have to do more if it!

 The paper is Bittersweet from Basic Grey. Hear Mirror is from Heidi Swapp…isn’t that cool!? Heart Bling is from Archivers…sorry…threw away the package! lol. Ribbon from May Arts! I really had a blast with this set, I hope to use it a few more times before Vday is over! Course…I guess it would make a pretty fun Bday card for a guy too!
